Scope

This policy applies when you browse this website or contact us through it. Linked third-party sites are governed by their own policies.

What we collect

• Browsing data. The site has no registration, forms or transactions. Our servers may automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, access time and pages viewed.
• Correspondence. Your name, title, organisation, contact details and message, when you choose to email us.
• Browser storage. We use only cookies or similar technologies needed for the site to function, such as remembering your language. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking. Should we introduce analytics, this policy will be updated first.
• Third-party services. Fonts and media may be served from third-party servers, which may receive your IP address and similar technical data under their own policies.

Purposes

Responding to enquiries and correspondence; maintaining the security and operation of the site; aggregate analysis to improve it; and compliance with legal obligations.

Period, location, recipients and manner of use

Data is retained for as long as the purpose requires, or as required by law, contract or our operations. It is used in Taiwan and wherever our service providers’ servers are located. Recipients are limited to the Firm, affiliates where operationally necessary, service providers acting on our behalf, and authorities entitled by law. Data may be processed by automated or manual means within these purposes. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.

Your rights

Under Article 3 of the PDPA you may request to inquire into or review your data, obtain a copy, supplement or correct it, have its collection, processing or use discontinued, or have it deleted. We may decline on the grounds set out in Articles 10 and 11, and may charge a reasonable fee under Article 14.

If you choose not to provide data

Providing data is voluntary. Without it we may be unable to respond to an enquiry; browsing is unaffected.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No internet transmission is completely secure. In the event of theft, disclosure or alteration of personal data, we will notify affected persons and respond as required by law.

Changes

We may revise this policy as law or operations require; revisions take effect on publication here.
